В предыдущем посте речь шла о поездке в Валенсию, ей безынтересном историческом центре и замечательном Городе Исскуств и Наук. Единственное, что мы обошли вниманием, это огромный океанариум: он настолько крут, что заслуживает отдельного рассказа. Некоторые фотографии в этом посте будут сомнительного качества по той простой причине, что в подводных туннелях комплекса довольно темно, морские обитатели не любят стоять на месте, а вспышкой, ради их здоровья, пользоваться строго запрещено.

Его общая территория около 100 000 квадратных метров, если верить Википедии, то это крупнейший океанариум в Европе.
На поверхности, кроме шоу дельфинов и красивых наземных частей павильонов, смотреть не на что: всё самое интересное находится под водой.

Павильон в самом центре океанариума, в котором находится пафосный ресторан «Подводная Лодка». Наверное, сидишь за столиком,
а мимо тебя плавают рыбы… но у них даже в ларьке с хот-догами цены такие, что в такой ресторан даже заглядывать страшно =)

а за оградой возвышаются другие здания Города Искусств и Наук.
Пора спуститься под воду и познакомиться с обитателями глубин!
Без карты комплекса тут не обойтись.
Итак, мы спустились в подводные туннели…
За стеклом проплывает косяк рыбы.
А вот мимо плывёт акула.
Рыба-меч затаилась на дне.
Тут по дну ползают диковинные крабы.
Более привычные крабы медленно шагают по дну на длинных ногах, словно марсианские машины из «Войны Миров».
В соседнем аквариуме на дне организовалось лежбище морских звёзд.

Никогда не подозревал, насколько красиво и завораживающе может выглядеть аквариум с медузами.
Особенно, когда аквариум большой, а медуз — много.

Разглядев, какого размера у этого моржа хрен (присмотритесь, его здесь замечательно видно), девушки перед аквариум
мечтательно закатывают глаза, восклицая «Вот бы моему парню такой!»
Как, понравилось? А в жизни выглядит гораздо захватывающей, больше и интересней! А уж когда темнеет и посетители расходятся по домам, места романтичней, посидеть наедине со своей девушкой перед огромным аквариумом и поболтать о том, о сём — не сыскать! (Летом океанариум открыт до полуночи, а большинство народу оттуда уходит часам к десяти).
Ночь опустилась на океанариум.
Вокруг безумно красиво, как на земле, так и под водой, а посетителей в комплексе уже практически нет!
В сухом остатке: если соберётесь в Валенсию, то на полный осмотр Города Искусств и Наук вам нужно где-то два дня, плюс ещё один день — прогуляться вокруг. Больше там делать нечего.
Возвращаемся на вокзал, отправляемся домой. Слева от вокзала видно большую арену для боя быков.

The previous post was about my trip to Valencia, its’ not very interesting historical center and amazing City of Arts and Sciences. The only thing I didn’t wrote there was a huge oceanarium, which is so cool that deserve a separate post. Some pictures below have poor quality for that simple reason that it’s quite dark in under-water tunnels and there is strictly prohibited to use flash there, because it hurts the fishes.

Its’ total territory is about 100 000 square meters, the Wikipedia says that it is the largest in Europe complex of this kind.
Actually, there is not so many too see on the ground level, except of dolphins show and very nice pavilions. All the interesting things are somewhere under water.

(even hot-dog place in the oceanarium was already not cheap for me :)

More usual crabs are slowly moving on their long legs, as Martian machines from “War of the Worlds”.

Never thought that aquarium with gel-fishes could be so beautiful and amazing.
Especially when the aquarium is big and there are a lot of gel-fishes.

The girls who manage to see the penis of the walrus (look better, it could be perfectly seen on this photo), where talking dreamily: «Wish my boyfriend has so big toy!»
How do you like it? In the real life this complex looks much more interesting, larger and delightful than on these pictures here! And when it is becoming late (it works until midnight in summer time) and most of the visitors go home (it is almost empty after ten o’clock in the evening) it is not possible to image a place more romantic to come with a girlfriend, to seat together in front of huge aquarium and talk about everything!
Night came to the oceanarium.
It’s incredibly beautiful around both underwater and above, and almost no people around!
My final opinion: if you come to Valencia, you need two days to see entire City of Arts and Sciences (one day, if you go only to IMAX and oceanarium), and maybe one more day to walk around the city (but it is really not so interesting as you can imagine). Nothing to do more time there!
We’re coming back home from the Valencia train station. You can see big bull-fight arena right next to it.
Final picture for today: a mosaic on the wall of train station, meaning “Nice trip”. If you suppose, that this is in Russian (the letters are Cyrillic for sure), you should pronounce it as “Schastlivii put'”, but then there is a mistake made, you should write it as “Счастливый путь” instead of “Счастливый пут” (the last symbol, ‘ь’ means you should pronounce the previous letter ‘т’ in the soft way, the difference is similar to the difference between ‘ñ’ and ‘n’ in Spanish).
